Following the very successful summer playing sessions in recent years, we will be holding similar sessions in 2026. These stand-alone evening sessions are open to all.  In particular, if you are considering joining the orchestra but want to know whether you play to a suitable standard or if you will enjoy yourself, these sessions are the perfect way to find out!

Each session will be spent working on a major orchestral work. Members of the Orchestra can book on the Upcoming Events page, or on each session page.

If you aren't an Orchestra member and would like to play at any session, sign up here - you will then receive an email invitation to book for each session.  If you have signed up but not received an invite, please check your Spam or Junk folders

It helps our admin if you book in advance - But even if you just turn up on the night, we'll provide music and a warm welcome!
