Vaughan Williams - Symphony No 2 ‘London’
An opportunity to hear the popular and tuneful Horn Concerto No. 2 by Richard Strauss, we will be joined by Angela Barnes, horn player with the London Symphony Orchestra; Berlioz' emotional King Lear Overture and Vaughan Williams 2nd "A London Symphony." Vaughan Williams has created an atmospheric symphony that celebrates his adopted city, london, complete with ‘Big Ben’ chimes.
Tickets are just £15 or FREE for young people and full time students; they are available online and on the door.
