We plan to play Bruckner: Symphony no. 4 in E flat, "Romantic".
Loaned copies will be available on the night. Bowed parts have been made available to (most) string players. Compatible parts are also available from IMSLP here (on the Parts tab.) Library parts for all players will be available on the night, so you don't need to print these unless you wish to practice beforehand. If you print a part, especially if you have marked it up, please bring it on the night, to save unnecessary printing.Scored for orchestra with:
double woodwind, with Bb clarinets AND A CONTRA BASSOON!
4 x French Horns in E and C, but we do have F parts
3 x trumpets and trombones and a TubaNotes:
Playing standard guide - grade 5 or above
There will be a break - bring your own refreshments
We will start playing promptly at 7:15 and finish at 9:30
