SUMMARY:Summer playing session 3: Sibelius
DESCRIPTION:Conductor: Melvin Tay\n\nAfter further study of the Kosenko Her
 oic Overture\, we have decided we can't do it justice in a one-evening ses
 sion\, so reluctantly\, we have shelved it for some other occasion.\n\nWe 
 now plan to focus on playing Sibelius Symphony no. 3.\nLoaned copies will 
 be available on the night.  We hope to make bowed parts available to stri
 ng players in due course.\nScored for orchestra with:\n\n\n\n	double woodw
 ind\, with Bb clarinets & contra bassoon\n	4 x French Horns in E and C\, b
 ut we do have F parts\n	3 x trumpets and trombones\n	NOTE:  Bass clarinet
  and tuba now have nothing to play\,  Sorry!\n\n\n\nNotes:\nPlaying stand
 ard guide - grade 5 or above\nThere will be a break - bring your own refre
 shments\nWe will start playing promptly at 7:15 and finish at 9:30\nParkin
