These are reference lists, not statistical analyses. They are drawn
mainly from original copies of programmes and press
reports which, for the earlier years, may be missing or sketchy.
Where alternative spellings of names exist, that used by the New Grove Dictionary
of Music and Musicians, Second Edition, published 2001, has usually been
adopted.
It is interesting to note that up to, and including December 3rd 2011
the Orchestra has:
